MAXUS 09 Drag Showdown All Motor Maxima Unlimited finals again the world's fastest Maxima owned by Jim Edwards of Ontario, Canada. He currently owns the record for the fastest Maxima with a 10.85 on nitrous.
The NWP Engineering 92 Maxima met this 95 Maxima in the finals of the MAXUS 09 Drag Showdown NA Maxima class and was able to get the win light by only 8 thousandths of a second!
The NWP 92 Maxima has a fully built 3.5 engine with cams, headwork, HR headgaskets, ARP rod bolts, HR valve springs, extended rev limiter, and so much more!

The highlight of the weekend for us was winning the All Motor Maxima Unlimited Finals against Jim Edwards, which also holds the record for the world's fastest Maxima with a 10.85 ET on nitrous! The NWP Engineering 3rd gen VQ35 Maxima got the win light, running a 12.80 to his 12.88 ET All Motor.
It was nice meeting everyone and putting faces to names! See you next year!
